Abstract

Network traffic measurement has always been a challenge and it’s also true for measuring performance of Tier 1 ISP performance. By nature, Tier 1 ISPs has different footprints on different networks and continents. Project Hubble uses few open source tools, and a custom network setup to measure performance of Tier 1 ISPs from the vantage point of an ISP.

About the Speaker

Mehmet Oner Yalcin works for Sky UK, Analytics & Planning Team as Senior Network Data Scientist. Former Network Engineer worked in various projects around the globe turned into programmer / data scientist, focusing on gaining insights from collected network data using DevOps and Data Science tools. Loves writing in R and Python. Also doing network automation to steer content delivery traffic to the optimum paths to make sure the quality of experience for users is great.
